In his most recent game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Kevin Durant moved into 20th place on the all-time scorer’s list
When Kevin Durant scored his 29th point against the Memphis Grizzlies, he claimed 20th place on the all-time scorer’s list. Durant surpassed Alex English to achieve this feat and with 25,622 points to his name is just behind Vince Carter. Carter is currently sitting on 25,728 points in 19th place and will soon be surpassed by Kevin Durant.
This Kevin Durant scoring list triumph is not the biggest one this season. As the year progresses, Durant will have the chance to climb as high as 10th place on the scorers’ list.
If he continues 32 points per game, Durant will only need 58 games to climb to the 10th position. The only thing that may get in Durant’s way are injury troubles. Durant has had several injuries in recent years that have kept him off the court.

Ben Simmons has been looking rather ineffective on offense and has started this season poorly. Simmons will play a big part in whether this Net’s team succeeds or fails.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have been the Net’s most effective players through the first three games of the season. Supporting role players have to step up and play a bigger role, and the team’s defense has to improve.
