Former NBA Champion Kevin Durant shows all respect to Dwayne Wade as the Cavs star fools KD with Alley-oop
During the NBA Championship match between Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, one hilarious took place when Dwayne Wade fooled Kevin Durant and took the ball from his hand.
That was not it as he finished scoring the basket with an alley-oop. And when the game reached its halftime. There was a beautiful moment between them as Durant was all respect for Dwyane. Both kinds did a high five to each other.
The two had shared a level of rivalry in the past but at the same time had respected each other’s game very much.
Kevin Durant heaps praise for Dwayne Wade
In an interview with The Palm Beach Post, Durant said that Harden deserved to be in the top 10 instead of Wade which set an unnecessary feud on social media.
However, at the Thunder’s media day, Durant got a chance to address the feud and heaped praise on Wade. This is what he said,
“Dwyane Wade is a great, great player, man,” Durant said. “I’m not discrediting anything he’s done or nothing like that. I just voiced my opinion. He’s a great, great player. Finals MVP and champion. I didn’t mean to disrespect that or take that away or anything. I just voiced my opinion as of today. I love you D-Wade, man. It’s just competition.”
Wade is one of the best shooting guards of this generation and deserves nothing but respect.
