Brooklyn Nets have just defeated the New Orleans Pelicans to once again stamp their authority in the 2022-23 NBA Season. After witnessing their 12-game winning streak come to an end at the hands of the Chicago Bulls, this Kevin Durant-led side bounce back to the winning column after their 108-102 victory on Friday Night.
This resulted in Kyle Kuzma coming out to give a huge MVP shoutout to Kevin Durant as the former NBA star is one of the many who completely believes in the ability of KD to lead the Nets all the way to the silverware this time around.
The Nets haven’t looked like a more combined unit than this in the four-year spell Durant has been here. Especially with the way Brooklyn Nets were falling apart, Durant has shown great traits of a leader to hold them tight on the court game after game.
Kyle Kuzma hails Kevin Durant
First, let us take a detailed look at the performance of Kevin Durant against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday – The former MVP was 9-of-26 from the floor, but he did make four of his seven attempts from deep en route to 33 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists along with two crucial blocks in a 6-point victory.
Moreover, this could’ve been another loss for the Nets if it wasn’t for Durant’s clutch ability to erase a 15-point lead. Perhaps this is just why Kyle Kuzma could not contain his excitement to give a massive shoutout to Durant, “Brooklyn is big time flowing!! KD should def be top of the mvp hunt.”
After this win, the Nets are 26-13, 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference standings, and will be locking horns against Chicago Bulls in their next game.
