It is not a surprise that the Philadelphia 76ers fans are some of the most feared fans in the NBA. Not only do they haunt the opposition players but are known to push away their own players off the edge, if they are not able to perform. However, this time on the receiving end was Nets star Kyrie Irving.
Kyrie Irving was given a reminder by one Sixers fan as to how the fans at Wells Fargo Center can get on the nerves of some professionals. To his dismay, Irving was in no mood to have none of it.
It is unclear what the fan said to Irving to get on his nerve. However, what cannot be denied is that Kyrie wasn’t happy with the fan and he just had to let him know about it. The Philadelphia 76ers supporter seemed to have gotten even more fired up by the fact that Irving gave him the time of day. The spoken-off fan continued to egg the Nets star on as the camera caught him multiple times.
Safe to say, it feels like Kyrie Irving was surely unhappy with how the fans inside the Wells Fargo Center welcomed Ben Simmons back. There’s no better way to answer his critics or heckling fans by securing a win. Although dropped a significant double-double with 30 points and 10 assists, the Nets lost 133-137.
Next up for the Brooklyn Nets will be Detroit Pistons as Irving will be looking to bring back the Nets onto winning ways before locking horns against his former teammate LeBron James on Monday.
