Kyrie’s 19 points performance against Toronto gets praise from Ben Simmons
In the 19th match of the season of the NBA side, Kyrie emerges to become the top point scorer of the match with 29 points on the scorecard out of which 19 came in the third quarter.
The round 1 pick of the 2011 NBA Draft may not have the start of the season with Brooklyn following his 5 games suspension by the side because of his failure to “unequivocally say he has no antisemitic beliefs” and said that he is “currently unfit to be associated with the Brooklyn Nets” now looks sober for the remaining season with him delivering two back-to-back above 20 points performance first against Philadelphia and now against Raptors.
His last matches saw him performing 23 and 29 points respectively, the Nets would hope for more of such game-plays by him giving a helping hand to Durant who is among the top scorers for the side this season.
During the post-match conference, Ben Simmons praised Irving when asked about his 19 points performance against the Raptors adding “Just being Kyrie. That’s what we want him to do. Just be himself”.
