The Los Angeles Lakers have just beaten the Atlanta Hawks once again, this time at their home as they register their first four-game winning streak in the 2022-23 NBA Season. However, before the showdown began the purple and gold army announced that they signed veteran Sterling Brown on a 10-day contract.
As quoted by the NBA, “The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Sterling Brown to a 10-day contract, it was announced today by Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Rob Pelinka.”
Many would be aware of how Sterling Brown has had stints with different NBA teams throughout the course of his career. Previously he was with Luka Doncic and his Dallas Mavericks wherein he played in 49 games, averaging 3.3 points and 3 rebounds per game.
In his five-year NBA career, Brown has also represented Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks so does know how to fit into a tight roster and make a name for himself. Talking largely about his NBA career, he has featured in 264 regular season games, with a career average of 5.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1 assist per game. Apart from this Sterling has also featured in 24 playoff games.
Most recently, the spoken of 27-year-old NBA veteran, played in six G League games this season and has averages of 11.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest (on 41.1% shooting from the field and 34.6% from the three-point range).
