The Los Angeles Lakers have finally appointed their new head coach. They have brought in Darvin Ham, who was the assistant coach of the Milwaukee Bucks last season. He worked with the Lakers as an assistant during the early part of the last decade.
Darvin is a former NBA player, and he certainly can get things right for the Lakers. The team had an abysmal season last year, as they missed the playoffs. The Lakers want to get back to championship contention, and Darvin can certainly take them to that level.
Lakers fans were quite happy after the appointment of their new head coach and showed their excitement towards Darvin Ham through their tweets.
The Los Angeles Lakers had one of the most disappointing seasons of their history last year. They were championship contenders, but they failed to even make the playoffs.
The trio of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook weren’t able to click together last season, due to many injuries. Frank Vogel wasn’t able to do adjustments and as a result, the Lakers were pretty bad last year.
Darvin Ham has a strong personality, and he has the experience of coaching superstars of this game. He certainly can make things right and lead the Lakers to another championship. It still isn’t clear whether Westbrook will stay with the team or not, and only the future will tell it.
