With Anthony Davis injured, the Los Angeles Lakers were in all sorts of trouble being without the services of Lonnie Walker and Austin Reaves as well, in their latest stretch of games. This is just when Darvin Ham found the best version of Thomas Bryant and Dennis Schroder to support Russell Westbrook and LeBron James on the court.

For the first time in the 2022-23 Season, the 17-time NBA Champions have registered a five-game winning streak. The latest of which came against an in-form and loaded Sacramento Kings at home wherein LeBron James dropped 37 points, Thomas had 29 points and 14 rebounds, Russell Westbrook added 23 points (15 assists), and Dennis Schroder dropped a massive 27-point tally to secure a 136-134 win for the Lakers.

As the Lakers are now 2 wins away from a .500 record for the first time in this season, fans are eagerly waiting for Antony Davis to boost the potential of this side as we approach the halfway mark.

NBA Executive on Anthony Davis’ return from injury

As per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, “Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis, who is rehabbing a stress injury to his right foot, will be taking a significant step forward in a few days by testing out his foot on the court in an individual workout, league sources tell Bleacher report.

This is one of the assignments in the ramp-up process before Davis is cleared for contact drills and then ultimately given the green light to rejoin his teammates for practices. Anthony Davis is progressing well with minimal pain, sources say.”

That being said, Thomas Bryant seems to have perfect his perfect fit in Darvin Ham’s team but will that change if Anthony Davis returns before the expected date? Remains to be seen.
