Russell Westbrook – LeBron James duo combined for 22 assists and 0 turnovers
Russell Westbrook and LeBron James combined for 22 assists without turning the ball over as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks.
Since last season, there hasn’t been much for Los Angeles Lakers supporters to shout about. The squad didn’t even get to the play-in round in 2021–22, and if anything, it appeared heading for a worse record this year. However, they just received a significant lift when they managed to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks, one of the league’s top teams, on Friday night.
Recent victories for the Lakers are mostly due to the performances of their star players. LeBron James recently passed Magic Johnson on the NBA’s all-time assists chart, and Anthony Davis is at last looking like himself again. Since moving to the bench, Russell Westbrook has also been performing well, and on Friday night, he and LeBron both stood out against the Milwaukee Bucks.
LeBron James and Russell Westbrook both have a great deal of playmaking talent. Both have a consistent 10+ assists per night average. And that’s exactly what they did, taking great care of the ball as well. Russell Westbrook averages 3.4 turnovers per game, which places him sixth in the NBA. LeBron James, who ranks eighth with a 3.33 game average, is not far behind him. It was therefore tremendously amazing that both players were able to maximise their playmaking abilities while avoiding to allow their worst flaws affect them.
Because Russell Westbrook Lebron James have the talent power to compete against anyone in the league, the squad will want to improve on this performance.
