LeBron James is a part-owner of Liverpool Football Club
Liverpool FC picked up another trophy under Jurgen Klopp as they defeated Chelsea in the 2021-22 FA Cup final.
The Reds defeated Chelsea earlier in the season too as they won the League Cup. This match also followed the same script as the pair could not be separated throughout the 90 minutes.
The match went into penalties with Kostas Tsimikas scoring the all-important one for Liverpool in sudden death.
This was the eighth FA Cup in Liverpool’s history, and the first they won since the 2005-06 season. Many big names came out to celebrate this win, and one of them was LeBron James.
The NBA legend is a part-owner of the Reds and was quick to post several messages on social media.
James was also quick to post Liverpool’s famous You’ll Never Walk Alone words.
Liverpool had been in the doldrums before their manager, Jurgen Klopp, took over. The German has transformed the club in the span of seven years and led them to a first-ever Premier League title.
He has also won the FIFA Club World Cup and the Champions League. This was Klopp’s first FA Cup win, and James also posted about the manager on social media.
This is Liverpool’s best team in the Premier League era and many believe this could be their best ever team.
They haven’t won as many titles under Klopp as some of their previous teams. However, the German could still lead them to the Premier League and Champions League titles this season.
