GANGSTA’S PARADISE!” as a nod to the late rapper’s 1995 hit “Gangsta’s Paradise” – a Grammy winning song which can be termed as his greatest hit.

Who is the “Gangsta’s Paradise” rapper?

Coolio is widely known as one of the most influential rappers of the 1990s.

The Pennsylvania born rapper is most known for his ‘90s hits such as It Takes a Thief, My Soul and Gangsta’s Paradise – especially the latter which pushed the rapper to mainstream stardom. In fact, the titular song in the album was a Grammy winning smash hit which is still in the charts almost three decades on from its release in 1995.

His demise will prove to be an important loss for the hip hop community which loses yet another flagbearer in 2022.
