LeBron James recently heaped tons of praise on his young teammate Austin Reaves.

Austin Reaves is slowly developing into quite the seasoned professional on the NBA court. The 24-year-old American who plays in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers has gone from strength to strength over the course of last season which was his first in the NBA as well as for the Lakers, and his confidence will certainly receive a boost after being praised by LeBron James.

After playing college basketball for the Wichita State Shockers and for the Oklahoma Sooners, Reaves went undrafted in the 2021 auction. However, he was picked up by the Los Angeles Lakers and would play his rookie season in the NBA. Although the Lakers did not manage to make it to the Play-Offs, it was a learning curve for Reaves who will certainly be back stronger.

Reaves’ motivation to be back stronger will certainly be boosted by the fact that he received some very high praise from none other than LeBron James. Being praised and put on a pedestal by one of the greatest players to have ever stepped foot on a basketball court will certainly do Reaves’ confidence a world of good – especially considering the way LeBron spoke about him.
