LeBron James Injury: Will the King play against the Philadelphia 76ers?

LeBron James wasn’t at his full fitness in Los Angeles Lakers home game against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. While he did drop 22+, his efficiency did seem to have taken a hit after not getting proper rest before once again carrying the burden of Purple and Gold on his shoulders.

However, after a 2-day break, LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers are set to host Joel Embiid and his Philadelphia 76ers in the Crypto.com Arena. While King James is still struggling with ankle soreness, his official injury status is ‘probable,’ which means that the 8-year-old Power Forward is most likely to step out on the court.

Patrick Beverley is still questionable to play with a non-COVID illness, and it’s likely that he will be sidelined again along with Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, and Lonnie Walker. This makes Darvin Ham’s vulnerable as it is, and with LeBron too not on the floor, the away side could well thump aside the LA Lakers.

LeBron James injury Status

Philadelphia 76ers are yet to submit their official injury sheet yett it is key to note that this team will be playing consecutively, after their showdown against Utah Jazz on Saturday. Which could mean that some of its marquee scorers could be given a rest in the worst-case scenario.
