According to Waka Flocka, the song “Hard in Da Paint” was inspired by LeBron James
LeBron James is credited by famed rapper Waka Flocka Flame for “Hard in da Paint.” Not to mention that, behind Bill Russell, LeBron James is arguably the greatest cultural and social symbol in basketball. Additionally, when you are that well-known, songs are written about you.
In the late 2000s, Waka Flocka Flame had a significant impact on culture. He had records all around. Everyone grooved with his music, the dreadlocks, and general sense of style and way of life, from the clubs to the streets.
LeBron Raymone James, then a rising star in the NBA, served as inspiration for Waka Flocka’s most popular song, “Hard in da Paint,” which he referred to as the “LeBron James of the streets.”
Waka Flocka Flame unexpectedly rose to prominence in the music world with the release of his debut studio album, “Flokaveli.” The man, who calls his rap game “sh*t” and is currently living off the royalties from all of his recordings and an estimated $7 million net worth, recently spoke on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast Club Shay Shay and opened up about every facet of his life.
Waka Flocka Flame said in his statement, “Hard in the Paint was inspired by LeBron James. If LeBron was never alive that song will never be out.”
When it comes to LeBron James, the “Kid from Akron” not only measured up to the maximum hype any athlete has ever had before even turning 18 but is still performing at a high level 20 years later. For twenty years, LeBron has served as an example to the world in recent years. James is doing this in a manner that no one else has. Prior to calling it a day, he is not decelerating.
