There is no denying that LeBron James is one of the greatest, if not the great, ever players to have played in the NBA. Entering the toughest basketball league, he became the ideal face of the league with his sheer talent and hard work and even in year 20, there seems to be absolutely nothing that this star hasn’t achieved in the world of the NBA.
Just in several weeks’ time, LeBron James will even surpass Kareem Abdul Jabbar as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. However, that is not the No. 1 goal of this 38-year-old superstar. The Los Angeles Lakers star wants to play alongside his son, Bronny to satisfy his desire, before thinking about hanging his boots.
In an exclusive interview with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, the 4-time NBA Champ and MVP revealed why he wants to share the NBA stage with his son – Bronny.
Bron said, “I need to be on the floor with my boy, I gotta be on the floor with Bronny. I would love to do the whole Ken Griffey Sr.-Jr. That would be ideal for sure. Being with him, spending a full year with him in the same uniform or against him, that would be the icing on the cake.”
That being said, this isn’t the first time LeBron has made his feelings perfectly clear. For those who are unaware even in the 2021-22 NBA season, LeBron had already vowed to play for whichever team could draft his son Bronny James.
