LeBron James has been a fan of Luka Doncic for a long time, and he recently heaped more praises on the Mavs superstar.
LeBron James is one of the best players to ever grace the game of basketball. He has certainly cemented himself as a top-3 player of all time. The debate about the GOAT conversation is going to continue for generations to come, but he certainly is a basketball Savant.
Another player who is climbing the ladder toward being an all-time great is Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic. The Slovenian in just 4 years has made himself a superstar in this game. He is following a similar trajectory to LeBron, and unsurprisingly their gameplay also resembles quite a lot on the offensive end.
Recent LBJ appeared on Uninterrupted and talked about Doncic. The Lakers leader was once again very supportive and appreciative of Luka. He spoke about why Luka is his favorite player in the NBA currently.
LeBron said, “His size. I mean he’s gigantic, 6-8 point guard. He’s 225 pounds. He has the ball on a string, And more importantly, his vision. That’s why I love Luka Doncic, his vision.”
LeBron James continued his praise for Luka Doncic
The 5-time NBA Champion James further continued to praise Luka and said, “He can control a game [and] he doesn’t even have to shoot. Literally, he’ll walk the ball up 10 straight times and get to his spot every single time just because of his pace. … It’s the mind.”
Luka has certainly elevated his game every single year. He has now become a block in the path of LeBron James, and the Los Angeles Lakers. If Luka continues to develop like he has done so far in his career, there is no doubt he can definitely end up as a top-10 player of all time.
