The 38-year-old NBA veteran stated ‘super-prayers’ to the Hamlin family when he spoke to the media after the Lakers registered their second consecutive win after beating the Charlotte Hornets. Although the Bills vs Bengals game was suspended to a later date, Bron sent out his wishes to the concerned player and even heaped praise on the NFL commissioner for calling the game off.

“Obviously, I don’t know what happened. I’ve seen the play but I don’t know exactly what happened,” LeBron James, who dropped 43 points and 11 rebounds against the Hornets said in the post-game interview. My thoughts and super-prayers goes up to the skies above for that kid’s family, for him, for that brotherhood of the NFL and everybody that’s part of the NFL family.”

The 4-time NBA MVP added, “It was definitely the right call by whoever made that call, Roger Goodell, or whoever had the authority to make that call, to suspend it. The safety of our players in all sports is always the most important. It was a terrible thing to see and I wish nothing but the best for that kid.”

For those unaware, Damar Hamlin was taken off the field by an ambulance and transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after he collapsed on the field after a tackle by Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins.
