LeBron James reveals his frustration after Lakers drop another close encounter on Sunday

Published by

LeBron James seems to give his ‘all’ for the Los Angeles Lakers but that is still not proving to be enough for them to close out games. Their latest loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday was the 10th loss in a close game for the side, and evidently, it didn’t make King James happy at all.

Whether one criticizes LA Lakers’ luck or their clutch decision-making, the Purple and Gold have simply not been able to be decisive in clutch situations. The latest to depict this was a scenario of Sunday, where Russell Westbrook had over 15 seconds to score a game-winning bucket for the home side yet he wasn’t able to get a shot, claiming that he was fouled on the way by Joel Embiid.

Just a couple of days after the refs were not able to find the contact on two game-winning chances for the Lakers, as they lost in double OT. This team has dropped another big game at home, their sixth consecutive loss against the Philadelphia 76ers.

LeBron James frustrated after Lakers’ latest loss

“We got the stop, gave ourselves a chance to win and didn’t execute.” Building upon this statement, James also broke down his thoughts on the loss. “It’s just frustrating getting in those positions and not coming out with a victory. We’re playing good basketball. We’re just not winning games.”
