LeBron James deletes his old playoff tweet. He has been playing at a phenomenal level even in his 20th season in the NBA, despite which the Los Angeles Lakers have fallen in a 14-20 pothole.
The Lakers are raking third from the bottom in the Western Conference standings. On the same note it seems loke the 37-year-old veteran has lost all hoes of his team making it into the playoffs.
Previously when the 17-time NBA Champions failed to make the playoffs, King James went onto proclaim how he will never be missing another playoff stage in his career. Bron write on his Twitter handle, “I can/will NOT miss the post season again for my career! This s–t HURT.”
That being said, the mentioned tweet does not exist. The 4-times NBA MVP and Champion has deleted it after an abysmal start by his team in the 2022-23 season. Does that mean that the arguable GOAT of NBA has given up on his team even before us reaching the halfway mark?
LeBron James deleted playoff tweet
After making a vow to never miss the playoffs, Bron was evidently hyped when the ‘purple and gold‘ franchise acquired Russell Westbrook. They wanted the media to not stop the negative narrative around them.
However, the reality has never sided with LeBron. His team has failed to pick up a consistent pace after 2020 Championship triumph.
Safe to say that the previous couple of years have been tough for the basketball fanatics in Hollywood. Despite, LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA championship in 2020. Since taking home that title, Los Angeles is just 88-99.
The playoffs don’t seem to be in the cards at the moment as the team sits in 13th seed. But will we witness the legendary of King James when the going gets tough? Remains to be seen.
