LeBron James has placed himself on the rejecting end of fans after he shows support towards Deshaun Watson and his performance for the Cleveland Browns.
The fans on social media did not appreciate LeBron’s gesture as Deshaun Watson made his return following some severe accusations. As an illustration, D. Watson was allegedly charged with several sexual misconduct cases resulting in a 11-game suspension for violating NFL’s personal-conduct policy.
A total is 24 women filed cases against Watson for his unlawful behavior. The women worked in massage parlors and were tormented during massage therapy sessions. LeBron James faced severe backlash on Twitter for his excitement-full tweet, “Yessir D Watson!! Another one. That boy getting his rhythm back! #Browns”
Each personality has his or her beliefs but in certain times, emotions should be kept at bay. LeBron probably does feel Deshaun Watson is correct in his own ways. However, expressing the support of social media was an unsatisfactory act. He further acknowledged Deshaun’s play on Instagram. posting a story for the Browns’ quarterback.
LeBron is a die heart Cleveland Browns supporter which made him miss out a simple fact. The fact that around 25 women have faced dreadful circumstances with Deshaun in company. Although it was Deshaun’s first multi-touchdown game with the Browns, Bron’s appreciation cannot be justified on social media.
The fans took it as a hurtful stance. Some commented, “Thought he was hacked for a second no way this is real,” meanwhile the other wrote, “Jesus, LeBron. Read the room.”
A podcast host, Jimmy Askins said, “You stopped being a Cowboys’ fan because of Jerry Jones but you are now actively rooting for Deshaun Watson!?”
Another twitter user commented, “My son is a huge fan of you.. he no longer will be supporting you after this tweet. Supporting Watson is no message you should be sending to the young kids out there. What’s next you will tweet about R Kelly?”
