LeBron James is trending yet again after he took a massive dig at himself in the recently released trailer for the movie “House Party.”
Apart from being one of the best players in the NBA right now as well as one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball, LeBron James is also a very recognised figure in pop culture. Apart from being a reputed fan of hip-hop songs as well as music videos, James is also a film enthusiast and has played himself as well as characters in numerous movies to this date.
LeBron’s latest cameo on the big screen comes as a cameo playing himself in the film “House Party” – whose trailer was only recently released. The comedy film which is set to be released early next year has James in the producer’s chair along with Maverick Carter, and is about a high school student sneaking out to a friend’s house for a wild night of fun, antics, hip hop and dance.
The trailer for the movie came out only recently, and when LeBron posted the trailer on his Instagram account, fans were thrilled to see LeBron in it – even if it was only for a few seconds. The trailer features a hologram of LeBron in his own room that addresses the protagonist as if it was LeBron himself – and what he said made the trailer go trending on social media in no time.
The LeBron hologram was at its complimentary best as it has been programmed to say “You’re one handsome m**********r” to the owner of the James residence – LeBron himself. Not just that, the hologram also affirmed LeBron’s decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat – a decision that came under fire but eventually proved to be a successful one.
Apart from the yet-to-be-released House Party, LeBron has also featured in a lot of other movies.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has provided cameos in movies such as Space Jam: A New Legacy, and Trainwreck as well as a number of documentaries about himself and the teams that he has played for.
The latest edition of the Space Jam series was Bron’s last appearance on the big screen.
