Luka Doncic and LeBron James are calculated as one of the best players in the league, currently. Although, there is a 15 years gap in the two players’ debut.
LeBron James was drafted in the 2003 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the first overall pick. Whereas Luka Doncic was drafted in the 2018 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks. Soon after, Mark Cuban’s franchise traded Luka Doncic from the Hawks for the draft rights to Trae Young.
Doncic said, “No way in hell… It’s always a possibility, but it’s going to be really tough. You gotta have a guy that plays for 20yrs in that shape, how he holds up his body. I am just saying without basketball skills, it’s very hard to hold that body.”
Luka was astonished to know that the reporters might be asking him to share a response if he would play 20 years. He added, “If you’re saying me there’s no way because I’m not playing that much. It’s amazing to watch him. It’s his 20th season and he’s scoring 30-40 points every night.”
LeBron James is immeasurably the most physically gifted NBA player to step foot on the court. On the other hand, Luka Doncic seems to be a prodigy in the sport of basketball. He is known to have the size of a forward and skills of a guard.
LeBron is chasing the all-time scoring record as he only needs 484 points to overtake legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Kareem has a career total of 38,387 point. LeBron’s last 2 games performance bagged a total of 90 points placing him up to 37,903 points.
Although, Luka Doncic has been in the NBA for 5 years. His elite scoring records deems fans to think that he can be a competition for players in the top 10 all-time scoring list.
LeBron James is 38-years-old and is set to enter his last few years in the NBA. With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum considered to replace LeBron after his farewell. Luka is also a tough name to emerge as the new face of NBA.
