Luka Doncic mentions Giannis Antetokounmpo as the best player in the NBA, saying “He’s impossible to stop”
There might be any player in the current NBA active players who does not recognise Giannis Antentokounmpo’s game and Luka Doncic just becomes another one of them.
The 7ft has been one of the most dominating players in the NBA not only this season but also for many consecutive seasons. On November 4, Giannis with his 26-point performance over the Timberwolves helped Bucks to achieve their in row 8th victory of the season, the best start recorded in franchise history.
Giannis has been in incredible form this season too just like another season. The “Greek Freak” dropped another 30-point performance against Dallas which was led by Luka. Doncic also gave a competitive performance delivering 27 points for his team on the scorecard.
Both No-Americans praised each other after the game. Doncic added “It’s hard to go against a guy like that,” Doncic spoke. “He’s the best player in the NBA right now. He’s almost impossible to stop. It’s really fun to see him play, but it’s not that fun to go against him.”
At the post-game conference, the 6xtime All-Stars Team member was asked his thoughts on Luka’s comment, to which he added “That’s a great compliment and I appreciate that, When you play against the best players in the league, being able to say something like that feels good. No matter wins or losses, just being respected by your peers, it’s always a good feeling.”
He continued “I always love playing against the best players in the league, He’s an incredible player, incredible talent, arguably one of the most talented players I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. It’s unbelievable what he can do for himself and his team, and it’s always great going against players like that.”
