Luka Doncic has been great in the 2022-23 season might be just an understatement. The 23-year-old stud has not only brought the Dallas Mavericks back into playoff contention but has done it in style. He is averaging 34.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game with an efficiency rate of 49.9% from the field and 35.5% from the 3-Point line.
However, he’s not the only player who is amongst the best so far in the 2022-23 season. The likes of Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic, Jayson Tatum, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are all among the top candidates.
As a result of which, the media wanted to know if Luka Doncic was keeping a close on the rest of the mentioned players just so that he can improve his own performances to be in the highest for the highest individual honor. To which, the Slovenian International had a rather unusual take wherein he confessed to watching EuroLeague more than the NBA.
“Not really,” said Luka Doncic when asked about whether or not he keeps a close eye on his MVP competition. “I watch some NBA games, but I watch more EuroLeague than NBA. But if it is a really good game and it’s on TV, I’ll watch it.”
Safe to state that the Dallas Mavericks sensation – Luka Doncic doesn’t appear to be interested in letting his voice be heard when it comes to weighing in on the ins and outs of the league. Whether or not it is right, do let us know in the comments down below.
