Magic Johnson has been at the top of the NBA for quite some years during his time and just knows the frustration to be forced to sit out due to an injury. Just like many basketball fanatics, Magic too is waiting for the return of the greatest modern-day players as they took over the league prior to their respective injuries. In particular, the LA Lakers legend mentioned Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant who are both currently benched on the sideline amid their respective hot form.

Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant aren’t the only two superstars who have picked up injuries. Even Joel Embiid and Devin Booker, two of the most probable MVP candidates have been placed on the bench due to their health setbacks. On the same note, Magic Johnson hopes that these stars can return back well in time just so that we can get the basketball festivity back on track.

“Four guys that NBA fans like me can’t wait to come back and play are Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker, and Anthony Davis. They were all having MVP-type seasons and have been dominant at their positions!” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Guess Magic Johnson’s prayers are being answered – Joel Embiid has returned on Tuesday for his Philadelphia 76ers, whereas Anthony Davis too is being reported to start his rehab and be back within a couple of weeks for the Los Angeles Lakers.

On the other hand, Phoenix Suns’ marquee scorer Devin Booker is in the second week of nursing a groin injury. Previous reports indicated that the 26-year-old is out for at least four weeks to recover from the issue. Lastly, Kevin Durant has suffered an MCL sprain and is expected to sit out at least for the remaining month.
