Denver Nuggets star player Michael Porter Jr. gave an update about his health ahead of the upcoming season of the NBA.
The Denver Nuggets have been very unlucky over the past two seasons due to injuries to their star players. Jamal Murray missed the entirety of last season and half of the season before that. Their other star, Michael Porter Jr., also got injured at the start of last season and didn’t return.
In other absences, Nikola Jokic won two consecutive MVPs, as he led his team to the playoffs in both years, and it was a great achievement on his part.
Recently, Michael Porter Jr. gave an update on his health while he was sitting courtside at an NBA Summer League game. He said, “I think I’m 100% at this point. It’s a blessing. I feel good. I’m excited to get back on the court and play basketball.”
This was a piece of great news for the Nuggets fans. Their team will be finally healthy, and they will look to make a push toward the NBA championship next season.
Jamal Murray will also return alongside Michael Porter Jr. next season
Nikola Jokic will finally have the luxury to play alongside his two co-stars Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. The two-time reigning MVP recently signed a massive contract extension with the Nuggets.
Jamal Murray has missed more than 18 months, and he is itching to get back on the court. He is a potential all-star, and everybody knows how great he becomes during the playoffs.
As a result, his return alongside the return of MPJ will be a scary sight for other teams in the NBA. If they are able to stay healthy, they are a clear-cut championship contender.
