The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in the fight for the 7th seed in the Western Conference and secured their place in the playoffs.

It was a closely contested game, in which the TWolves dominated the 4th quarter of the game as they outscored the Clippers by 31-20 to secure a big victory which puts them in the 1st round matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.

D’Angelo Russell dominated the game for the Minnesota Timberwolves as he ended up with 29 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists. He shot 10/18 from the field while also knocking down 3 three-pointers and was the driving force of this win for his team alongside Anthony Edwards.

Anthony Edwards had a stellar game as he rose to the occasion, and he ended up scoring 30 points in the most important game of the season for his team, where their all-star Karl Anthony Towns fouled out early in the 4th quarter and had a terrible game.

Patrick Beverley gave his all on the court and was the vocal leader of this team as he helped them to take down his former team and qualify for the playoffs.

Los Angeles Clippers are on the brink of elimination!

The Los Angeles Clippers following this loss to the Wolves will face the winner of the match between the Pelicans and the Spurs to fight for the 8th seed in the West.

If they are able to win that game then they will be up against the Phoenix Suns in the 1st round, which will be the recap of last year’s Western Conference Finals and the road has got slightly tougher for this Clippers team.

Even though the Pelicans and the Spurs have been playing well recently, the Clippers will go into that match as the heavy favorites because they have a better squad and more experienced players than those two teams.
