NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins has slammed Giannis Antetokounmpo for disrespecting the Wells Fargo Center Staff after the Milwaukee Bucks’ defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Giannis in action against the 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in their latest meeting at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Friday night. The resurgent Sixers carried their good run of form by clinching their fourth successive win and their third consecutive win on home territory and defeated the Milwaukee Bucks by 110-102 in their latest Western Conference match.

It was a commendable turnaround by the home team after falling behind in the first quarter, as Joel Embiid inspired the Sixers to a very important win in the Conference. The center scored 32 points to help the Sixers register a crucial win – and pile further misery on the away side who have recently had trouble with their form, despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s best efforts.

The Bucks star put up a performance worth 25 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists but the Greek Freak ended up in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. After a game where he made only 4 of his 15 free throws, Giannis did not wait to focus on his free throw form immediately after the game – and was unapologetically forceful when asked to stop by the Wells Fargo Center Staff.

Following the game when Giannis immediately focused on improving his free throws, he was instructed to stop by the Wells Fargo Center staff who brought a ladder onto the court. Giannis evidently did not take too lightly to the disruption, as he threw the ladder out of the court in a disrespectful gesture – that has since been slammed by Kendrick Perkins.

What did Kendrick Perkins have to say about the gesture?

The former NBA champion took to his Twitter to criticize the gesture.

Giannis Zoom Freaks

Perkins took to his Twitter following the game to slam the forceful gesture by Antetokounmpo. Quoting a tweet of the video that showed the footage of Giannis throwing the ladder away, the former NBA champion with the Boston Celtics wrote “Giannis full of shit for this!!! Real Talk.”

The Greek Freak has had an impressive season for his franchise and despite the team hitting a bit of a standstill in form, he will hope to turn it around for the Bucks.
