Kawhi Leonard got back in the starting lineup for the Los Angeles Clippers as they defeated the Detroit Pistons.

Kawhi Leonard marked his return to the Los Angeles Clippers at the start of this season as he missed the entirety of last season due to an ACL injury. He played two games off the bench but missed the next 12 games due to discomfort in his knee.

Many people were worried about Kawhi’s health but the star player stated that he is just recovering from a major injury. Last night, Kawhi Leonard marked his return to the starting lineup for the Clippers as they defeated the Detroit Pistons. After the game, Leonard spoke about his absence.

Talking about his absence, Kawhi Leonard said, “Just rehabbing, getting ready, I’m not going to explain it because I’m not a doctor, and nobody in here is one. So just getting back, ready to get on the floor.”

He added, “Like I said before, at the start of the season, it’s going to be a long journey, ACL recovery isn’t just one year. Everybody thinks that, but it’s a two-year process, so I know that and I’m going to keep going and going through the process.”

The Los Angeles Clippers need Kawhi Leonard fully healthy in the playoffs, and due to it, we can see them taking it slowly with their star player throughout the regular season.
