NBA has decided to postpone two more regular season games in the wake of Covid-19 concerns
Just when it seemed like the world has moved past Covid-19, the virus has started to creep back into our lives. The effects of it can already be seen in the sporting leagues as well. Recently, NBA announced it’s decision to postpone two regular season games in the wake of Covid-19 concerns.
Monday’s game between Orlando Magic vs. Toronto Raptors in Toronto and Washington Wizard’s game against Brooklyn Nets in New York are the latest to be postponed. As of now more than 50 players are on the list of NBA’s safety protocols which have sustained them from taking part in the their respective team’s games.
The games are set to be rescheduled, however, the dates for the these two postponed games has not been released by the league just yet. Stay tuned to find out more as the situation develops in the coming days.
Did NBA postpone anymore games?
The decision of postponing the above listed games was made on Sunday, 19 December 2021. Moreover, Nets vs. Wizards and Magic vs. Raptors were not the only games which got themselves postponed. Apart from these two games, there were three more games which had to be pushed back because of Covid-19 related concerns
Sunday’s games of Denver Nuggets vs. Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks and New Orleans Pelicans vs. Philadelphia 76ers were all postponed. With the league still battling Covid-19 related concerns, it is yet to be seen how the league moves forward. Fans would certainly hope that the league is not brought to a halt in the middle of the season.
