Social media, in particular, Instagram and Twitter are two of the most powerful ammunitions available at the disposal of Kyrie Irving whenever he wants to communicate something to his fans. But even when he’s staying clear of any controversy in the team’s bid to make a serious run for the championship, his Instagram account has been suspended.
Kyrie Irving, who is undoubtedly one of the most polarizing point guards in the league, was shocked to see such a scenario happen. The 2016 NBA Champion even posted a screenshot of his suspension notification.
“They suspended my @kyrieirving account, idk why, nor do I care to know the reason why. Tribe my tribe: Make sure y’all are paying attention to everything that’s going on. Stand Firm no matter what,” Irving wrote in his caption.

As the Nets marquee revealed in his post on Twitter, Kyrie Irving has no idea why his account was suspended.
However, given all the controversies he’s been involved in through the years, this actually isn’t a total shock. Then again, it’s been months since the Nets superstar was embroiled in an anti-semitic scandal, and he has since moved past that issue. It is hard to imagine that Irving’s account has been suspended for those reasons, as it is long gone in the past.
