LeBron James just showcased why he is arguably the greatest player of all time as Nick Wright couldn’t help himself in upholding the same claim in his latest tweet. After King James dropped game-high 37 points against the Sacramento Kings to ensure Los Angeles Lakers’ fifth consecutive win in the 2022-23 season.
On one hand, where stars like Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, and Lonnie Walker IV were all sidelined, King James was supported by Russell Westbrook (23 points), Thomas Bryant (29 points and 14 rebounds), and Dennis Schroder (27 points).

Despite being 38 years old, James is giving himself every chance to surpass Michel Jordan in the GOAT race. Longevity being his greatest asset, Wright was quick to state that in his latest tweet.
That being said, let us look upon the stats of Michael Jordan when he was 38 years old, contesting in the NBA. Having played in 48 games for the Washington Wizards, His Airness averaged 24.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.5 steals at an efficiency rate of made 41.8% of his field goal attempts, the lowest in his career since a 41.1% clip during his 1994-95 NBA season.
