Nikola Jokic became the first player in the history of the NBA to register 2000 points, 1000 rebounds, and 500 assists in a single season.

The reigning MVP of the NBA Nikola Jokic, who is also the current favorite to win the MVP Award this season is making huge statements on the court to be crowned as the league’s MVP again.

In his recent match against the Memphis Grizzlies, Nikola Jokic did what no other player has been able to do in the history of the NBA, as he became the first player ever to record 2000 points, 1000 rebounds, and 500 assists in a single season.

This record has further strengthened the case for his MVP status, and he will likely be again crowned the league’s MVP ahead of the likes of Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The way he has carried this Nuggets team on his back without his two co-stars Jamal Murray and Micheal Porter Jr. who have missed almost the whole season has been remarkable on Jokic’s part and he is well-deserving of another MVP award.

Can Nikola Jokic lead this Nuggets team to a deep playoff run?

The Denver Nuggets are in a very good spot ahead of the playoffs, with Jokic playing like the best player in the league and Jamal Murray & Michael Porter Jr. scheduled to return in time for the playoffs.

This Nuggets team can take out any team, during the playoffs as we saw two years ago in the bubble. They went to the WCF after overcoming two 3-1 deficits against the Clippers and the Jazz.

Everyone knows the impact that Jamal Murray has on this team. If he returns for the playoffs, the Nuggets are well capable of winning the championship.
