Nikola Jokic used his trademark ‘Joker vision’ to pull off a crucial play in the Denver Nuggets’ win over the Golden State Warriors.

The Denver Nuggets pulled themselves over the line against the Golden State Warriors as they won 128-123 away at the Chase Center in San Francisco. It was a humdinger of a game that went right down to the wire as even though the Nuggets were off to a great start and lies comfortably at halftime; the Warriors pulled it back to an even game as the game saw a very eventful end to it.

However, despite the Warriors’ best attempts as they won both the last two quarters, the Nuggets held on–and a large part of the credit goes to the talismanic Nikola Jokic. The 2022 MVP was at his best yet again as he pulled up with a performance where he racked up 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 34 minutes–the important of which came in the dying minutes.

It was with less than 20 seconds remaining in the last quarter that the Warriors only trailed the Nuggets by three points and the match was hanging right in the balance – when Jordan Poole came up with a brilliant swipe and score to bring the deficit down to one. Just when the Warriors’ thought they were in the game, Jokic pulled them right out of it with one move.

What did Jokic do to take the game away from the Warriors?

The Joker pulled off a crucial play to cement the victory in the dying embers.

Just when Poole pulled off a swipe and score, Jokic used his trademark vision to spot Bruce Brown Jr all alone in the Warriors’ half of the court and came up with an unbelievable dime to find Brown in acres of open space. Brown did the rest and pulled off a two pointers, to restore their lead and the Nuggets successfully saw out the rest of the 13 seconds left in the game.

The win meant the Nuggets pulled off their first win of the season, and Jokic seems to have picked up from where he left last season.
