“Not exactly Jordanesque” – Skip Bayless unimpressed with LeBron James putting up double double in win over Hornets

Skip Bayless was dissatisfied with LeBron James’ double-double performance against the Hornets, calling it “not quite Jordanesque”

LeBron James of the LA Lakers is still “distressing the NBA” as according to expert Skip Bayless. The LA Lakers (16-21) have worked hard to regain their chances of making the playoffs after a dismal start to the 2022–23 campaign. The Lakers have had to rely on another great to carry them as another superstar Anthony Davis is out injured.

The 38-year-old has not yet demonstrated any indications of slowing down. While in his 20th season, James always amazes the audience with his performance. James has recently demonstrated that he still has the ability to be a powerful force.

The Lakers have appeared to be the better team thus far tonight. They are delivering the ball to the rack more frequently and benefiting from it. The Hornets have been hammering away at the advantage and trying to get back in the game since the Lakers had a lead of up to 24 at one point.

The person who has paid the most interest to almost everything LeBron James does over the past few years is none other than Skip Bayless, a self-described LBJ hater. The Fox Sports expert has made it his life’s mission to refute LBJ’s claim to be the GOAT while promoting Michael Jordan.

He repeated it tonight as well, with the Lakers leading the Hornets by 18 points at the conclusion of the third quarter.

This was the speech by LeBron James that Skip Bayless was referring to: “I’m a winner, and I want to win, And I want to win and give myself a chance to win and still compete for championships. That has always been my passion. That has always been my goal since I entered the league as an 18-year-old kid out of Akron, Ohio.”
