LeBron James is leaving no stone unturned in strengthening his GOAT case as the 38-year-old is still averaging 28.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game, even in his 20th season. With Anthony Davis being ruled out due to indefinite time period, King James seems to be carrying the offensive workload for his side as they struggle to rank amongst the playoff berths.
The 2022-23 season is approaching its midway, with Lakers still ranking 13th in the Western Conference, courtesy to a 15-21 record. However, that has done no harm to LeBron’s GOAT candidature. Moreover, the team (Atlanta Hawks) against who Bron just dropped season high 47 points, its center, Onyeka Okongwu pointed how the concerned superstar is the greatest player of all time.
Onyeka Okongwu added how LeBron James is the specimen of strength and even when he’s 38, he possesses the capability to drive hard to the rim. Safe to say Okongwu did raise a valid point as no player from the Atlanta Hawks had a solution on how to stop King James.
Onyeka Okongwu on LeBron James being the GOAT
Though it will be hard to convince the public that LeBron James is the GOAT over Bulls legend Michael Jordan, there’s no question that he is the best player among this current generation of players. Safe to say, there are times when LeBron James is absolutely unstoppable, and the LA Lakers game against the Atlanta Hawks was clearly adding to the same point.
Onyeka stated as per Kevin Chouinard, “To me, he’s the greatest of all time. Me and John being in foul trouble doesn’t help, either. He’s just a physical specimen going downhill. It’s so hard sometimes; you have to foul him. He’s a tough cover. We’ll see him again a week from today.”
