Paul George impressed against the Utah Jazz, guiding the Clippers to a hard-fought victory
The Los Angeles Clippers led by Paul George capped off a huge comeback win against the Utah Jazz that will boost their chances of making the playoffs.
Clippers were down by 25- points at one point in the game but that didn’t stop them from believing themselves as they once again came back from behind to win the game just like they have done quite often in this season.
Paul George who returned to the Clippers lineup after missing around 3 months due to an elbow injury was the star of the show as he scored 34 points on his comeback to secure this big win for the Clippers.
The comeback of Paul George was a huge boost to this Los Angeles Clippers team who is looking to make the playoffs and Paul George will certainly help their chances.
The Clippers have done a fairly good job throughout this season as they still are in the mix for the playoffs despite missing three of their best players in Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Normann Powell for the majority of the season.
They are expected to get back Powell soon which will also boost their chances of making some noise come playoff time, and it will be interesting to watch this squad as the regular season approaches its end.
Donovan Mitchell’s valiant efforts go in vain
Donovan Mitchell had a very good game against the Clippers as the Jazz looked in complete control with a lead of 25 points but the Clippers rallied back to spoil the game for the team from Utah.
Mitchell continued to perform in big matches as he scored 33 points and recorded 6 assists as well in what was a game that the Jazz shouldn’t have lost at any cost.
This loss will be very upsetting for the Utah Jazz but they need to pick themselves and bounce back quickly as the playoffs are upon us and they need to make a deep run this time around.
