The American basketball superstar who played for the Utah Jazz last season joined the Lakers in a trade that has got everyone talking about it, and he sounded like an excited schoolboy himself as he posted an Instagram story about his new workplace earlier today.

After coming up with a post on Twitter saying “Woke up a Laker” that showed his excitement to join the Lakers, Beverley posted a Boomerang on his Instagram story showing his new home and accompanied it with a caption that encapsulates his excitement to be at his new franchise.

What did Beverley post about?

Beverley took to Instagram to post a story about being at the Lakers trailing facility in Los Angeles, accompanied with the caption “First Day of School”, showing how excited he is to be a part of the legendary Los Angeles outfit for the upcoming season.

Beverley hinted at his excitement to join the legendary NBA franchise which hosted a lot of legends in the past and last won the NBA championship in 2020, and also compared his excitement to that of a school kid who is hyped to go to school on the first day of a new academic year.

In fact, it actually is an emotional homecoming to the Lakers for Beverley as he was drafted by the Lakers in the NBA in 2009 as their 42nd overall pick although he never played a game for the franchise.

The veteran Beverley will hope to help LeBron James and his archrival-turned-teammate Russell Westbrook win the NBA Championship, and win his first Ring at 34.

Beverley easily becomes the best perimeter defender in the Lakers roster immediately after signing for the franchise and hopes to hold forth while King James wreaks havoc with the court.
