The NBA community have been raving about the new guessing game with some even calling Poeltl NBA Wordle. Poeltl is a guessing game where one 8 chances to correctly guess the NBA player for that particular day. Each person gets one chance to play the game and after doing so has to wait till the next day to play again.
There are 7 columns under which certain details about the player are mentioned, if you guess a player and any of the details match the player of the day then those columns will turn green. For example if the player of the day is Devin Booker and you guess Chris Paul, the team and position columns will turn green because they both play for the Phoenix Suns and they both play the guard position. Similarly, the other columns focus on the following detail: Conference, Division, Height, age and jersey number.
Every time you guess a player more columns will either stay the same or turn green and you use those clues to finally guess the correct player. It’s become a trend among NBA fans to try and guess the player as early as possible with some trying to get it right within two or three tries. Poeltl NBA wordle is a fun way for NBA fans to test their knowledge of NBA rosters but be careful because the game chooses random players that are actively playing so you could get a player like LeBron James or a player like Luke Kornet.
