Quentin Grimes is making a case to be a regular feature on the New York Knicks as he continued to impress in the Summer League.
The New York Knicks faced off against the Chicago Bulls in the Summer League on 10th July 2022. The Knicks blew out the Bulls as their team is looking like a strong contender to win it all.
Quentin Grimes, who played for the Knicks last season has been absolutely dominating in the Summer league. In the game against the Bulls, he ended up scoring 24 points. He also had 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and made 4 three-pointers.
He had a 24 points outing in his first game at the Summer league also. Grimes has continued to impress everyone and is making a strong case to become a regular feature in the Knicks squad for the next season.
The New York Knicks have already bolstered their squad by signing free agent Jalen Brunson. They have finally got their franchise point guard, which is why they will be a lot better next season.
With Brunson, RJ Barrett, and Julius Randle being a part of the core of the Knicks, the young players like Quentin Grimes, Obi Toppin, and Cam Reddish could prove to be very handy.
Grimes had shown glimpses of his potential last season, and with his impressive performances in the Summer League, he will hope to be more consistent when he gets his chances in the regular season.
