The future of Tom Thibodeau who is the head coach of the New York Knicks was uncertain as they were having a very bad season this time around.
Knicks who made the playoffs during the last season had high expectations for this season as they were able to improve their team in the offseason.
They signed Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier who both are very good players and it looked like the New Yor Knicks were ready to take that extra step and make a deep playoff run this time around.
However, things didn’t go according to the plan since they are potentially out of the playoffs and the whole team has struggled with major issues in the locker room.
All of this had brought huge scrutiny over the head coach Tom Thibodeau and questions were risen as to whether or not he will continue at the New York Knicks.

The franchise will look to improve things for the next season as their goal is to make the playoffs every year, which they failed in doing so this time around.
There are many issues that led to the disappointing season for the Knicks, but one of the major issues was the injury to Derrick Rose.
The star point guard always made this team better whenever he played and him missing the major part of the season has really haunted the New York Knicks.
Along with this, Julius Randle hasn’t been able to perform at the same level in which he performed last season while Kemba Walker was also shut down for the rest of the season because the Knicks are looking to give chances to their young players.
The whole franchise will be hoping to turn things around next season and go back to the playoffs with RJ Barrett continuing to improve and showing the world that he can carry this franchise on his back.
