Reports have suggested that Jordan Poole has not forgiven Draymond Green for infamously assaulting him in a practice session earlier this preseason.
The Golden State Warriors have been dealt with a massive blow in their morale ahead of the upcoming season where they will try to defend their title, courtesy of a huge altercation between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole during a practice session. While the practice session was called off, reports of the altercation immediately surfaced on social media platforms.
Things went from bad to worse when the video of the altercation was leaked on social media, and it was seen that Green forcibly hit Poole in an altercation that was so bad that the rest of the team and the backroom staff had to intervene. The atmosphere of tension in the Warriors camp is something that runs way deeper than just another altercation between players in practice.
It was reported that the atmosphere of tension peaked in the defending champions’ camp courtesy of several contract situations at the club. While Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green will all be out of contracts in 2023, it turns out that while Poole will sign a lucrative new deal soon, Draymond will play out the rest of his deal – sparking the war of words.
However, even though Draymond Green had to come out and publicly apologize to both Poole and the rest of the Warriors locker room, it has been reported that Poole is not quite happy and has not forgiven Green for physically assaulting him in practice.
Reports have suggested that Jordan Poole has not yet forgiven Green for the attack on him.
Cyrus Satsaaz revealed on the Locked in NBA podcast Poole has not forgiven the veteran Green for the physical attack on him, and the pair have not spoken yet. One can only guess that if the rumors are true about Poole and Green not having made up yet, the Warriors could be in a lot of trouble when the regular season gets underway for the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors begin their season against the Los Angeles Lakers on 18th October.
