LeBron James and the Lakers received praise from Skip Bayless’ Twitter after their win over Bucks
“LeBron James is STILL the best passer in basketball.” Skip Bayless’ Twitter said this. Skip Bayless praised James, one of the NBA’s greatest passers before criticising LeBron James obnoxiously.
“LeBron obviously wanted no part of driving and having to shoot free throws on 3rd to last possession, then almost laughably hot-potatoed by ball to … Westbrook? … so he (LBJ) didn’t have to shoot the free throws. Westbrook predictably missed both. But AD finally made one.” This remark at James from the experienced Fox Sports broadcaster seemed like a last-ditch effort.
James moved up to the sixth position in the NBA’s all-time assists leaderboard earlier in the fourth quarter, passing Magic Johnson. Why not state the obvious when Bayless was well aware that Johnson was about to pass the four-time MVP?
For the LA Lakers’ largest and most stunning victory of the season, the seasoned sports analyst did present them with flowers. “Despite the shaky finish, great overall performance by the Lakers, who actually resembled contenders. AD stood up to Giannis with 44 pts and 10 rbs (all in the 2nd half). Both Bron and Russ had 11 assists and ZERO TURNOVERS. Lakers won the boards. Lakers looked like … Lakers!” Bayless shared on his Twitter.
The Lakers are improving at the ideal time of the year and are off to a winning start on their six-game road trip. Khris Middleton, who made his season debut and scored 17 points in just 27 minutes of play, helped them defeat Milwaukee.
Regardless of how brilliantly or poorly LeBron James performs throughout this run, one can always depend on Skip Bayless and Skip Bayless’ Twitter to poke fun at the Lakers’ top ranked player.
