Saddiq Bey registered his career-high total of 51 points in the game against the Orlando Magic, as he helped his team to win the match
The Detroit Pistons were missing both their best players in Cade Cunningham and Jeremi Grant who both were not healthy to play the game.
This came as the right opportunity for Saddiq Bey to show the world how great of a player he has become in just his second season in the league.
Coming into this game, the Orlando Magic were being favored to win the game but Bey had other plans as he just completely blew them off.
Saddiq Bey shot 17/27 from the field while also notching up 10 three-pointers which shows how much he dominated the game against this Orlando team who recently received a 60-piece from Kyrie Irving as well.
This is a rebuilding phase for both these teams but the young players of both the teams are emerging and prooving out to be very good players. This really makes the people associated with both the franchises very optimistic about their future.
One of the most positives things coming about this season for the Orlando Magic is the emergence of Franz Wagner.
The rookie who was selected from Michigan has exceeded all the expectations which were set up for him and has been the most consistent player on this young Orlando team.
Against the Detroit Pistons, he scored 26 points and was the best player from his team during the game, which he has been quite often this season.
This Magic team can do wonders in the future because their young core is very solid with the likes Franz Wagner, Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs, Mo Bamba, Markelle Fultz, etc.
Next year’s draft will be very crucial for them because the player that they select in the next draft might well be the final piece in the jigsaw puzzle of the team.
If they somehow get their hands on a player like Chet Holmgreen who is good friends with Jalen Suggs and will fit perfectly in their team then they can surely make some noise in the future.
