This has given NFL Hall of Famer turned analyst Shannon Sharpe confidence in stating that the Lakers can make it into the knockout stages if Anthony Davis manages to join efficiently in their upward trajectory. Moreover, Sharpe went on to state how the Lakers could become one of the most dangerous teams to lock horns against.

In the latest episode of Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe emphasized how the Lakers are gradually managing to fetch wins at a point where no one is focusing on them. On one hand, where teams like Phoenix Suns have lost 7 of their last 8, this can be the perfect chance for the purple and gold army.

Shannon Sharpe on the Lakers’ playoff aspirations

“If Anthony Davis can come back mid-January, maybe early February, and LeBron James is still playing at this level … I think the Lakers can get to the play-in,” Sharpe saidin the latest episode of Undisputed. “When they get to the play-in and have Anthony Davis, they’re gonna be a very scary team.”
