Shaq once again displays his great heart by offering to pay for everyone’s meal at a well-known deli
Customers at a deli and restaurant in Houston received an early Christmas gift this year when Shaq O’Neal paid for their Christmas Eve dinners. A third-generation Hungarian deli co-owner of Kenny and Ziggy’s New York Delicatessen shared a Facebook post about the experience, writing, “You never know who will walk into Kenny & Ziggy’s.”
The Facebook post further said along with a picture Shaq took with one of their employees of the deli. “Our friend Shaq paid us a visit today. This was his first time at the new store, and loved it!. He is such a Men[s]ch – he bought everybody’s meal in The Schmooze Room! What a great guy.”
The Schmooze Area is the restaurant’s “big private room,” as stated on the deli’s website, and it is utilised for gatherings and meetings. The room can accommodate up to 75 people, although it’s unclear how many were there at the time.
Many individuals praised Shaq O’Neal’s action at the Houston deli in the comments section of the post. Some of them even mentioned their own beneficial interactions with the NBA icon in the past. O’Neal frequently travels to Houston since his son Shaqir attends Texas Southern University and plays basketball there.
Shaq relocated to the Dallas region earlier this year after attending high school there when his father served at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. He was observed purchasing his family a new washing machine and a 75-inch television at a nearby Best Buy soon after moving into his house in June, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
