Shaquille O’Neal made it impossible for other players in the league to attack the basket when he’s standing anywhere near the rim. Being a 4-time NBA Champion, Shaq went onto win MVP accolades only because of his power and strength. Safe to say, it was Diesel who paved the way for other big-men to have ambitions of winning the highest individual accolade.
But one aspect where Shaq lacked the most, was in his married life – with Shaunie. Even when the famous Ime Udoka cheating scandal took place prior to the commencement of 2022-23 season, the Los Angeles Lakers kept his mouth shut as he too has been deemed which such a negative remark.
During his time in Hollywood with the LA Lakers, Shaq spent some serious time enjoying parties and never truly settled in with his family, despite the fact that he had six kids. So, what could be the possible reason for it? Well, if you were to believe the 50-year-old Hall of Famer turned analyst, he wasn’t programme for a relationship.
Shaq said, “”I wasn’t programmed to have a relationship and then when you move to L.A.? Times ten. And when you go to L.A., back to Miami? Times twenty. Everything that was done. Everything that was bad, that happened it was all because of me.”
In a video that has gone viral, Shaq spoke about his ex-girlfriend Arnetta Yardbourgh and his ex-wife, stating just how Miami and Los Angeles took a toll on his married life.
“Arnetta was one that I’ve always had a crush on in high school but never talked to her. Finally, when I’m about to get drafted, now, I’m confident. I got some money. I got the chains. I get to talk to her. We started dating. We love each other. She gives me my first bundle of joy, Taahirah,” Shaquille O’Neal emphasized. “Now, after all of this, I’m still doing dumb stuff. Then I meet the other greatest person of my life, Shaunie. I knew she was gonna be my wife. And I knew she was gonna have all of my other children. But just being a dumba*s, rich, spoiled man. Of course, I messed it up.”
