Shaquille O’Neal does not seem to agree with ESPN’s list of the Top 10 Players in the NBA.
Shaquille O’Neal is widely known as one of the best players to ever step on a basketball court, as well as one of the best centers ever. While on the court, Shaq was known for his incredible size, speed and strength that made him one of the most physically dominant specimens in NBA history, he is known for his headstrong opinions off the court.

The Big Aristotle has given another example of that as he did not agree with the list of the Top 10 Players in the NBA listed by ESPN. The sports broadcasting channel’s Top 10 rankings of the active players in the NBA has caught a lot of flak from both fans as well as former professionals, and Shaq is only the latest to raise a problem with the list of the 10 best active NBA players.
Shaq took to his Instagram account to quote ESPN’s tweet about their Top 10 Best NBA Player rankings, and accompanied it with the caption “what y’all think about this list I don’t know” – to which his many fans replied to the post with their renditions of the rankings.
ESPN released a very controversial list of rankings to say the least.
According to the list that has trended for all the wrong reasons since it was published, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is the best player in the NBA – an opinion many can agree with – but the rest of the rankings were heavily put under fire to say the least. Giannis was followed by Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic – completing an all European top three in the list.
Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors follow suit, who are followed by LeBron James at sixth.
If that was not controversial enough, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics was ranked above Kevin Durant – and Ja Morant and Devin Booker completed the rankings to conclude a very controversial ranking.
