On the other hand, Curry put up the best performance of his season as he scored 50 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists – but could not help the Golden State Warriors from succumbing to yet another damning defeat on the road.
The defeat was the defending champions’ eighth defeat on the road, meaning that they currently hold an away record of 0-8 this season. It is the worst away record by the Warriors in any season since the 1989/1990 season when they lost their first nine games of the season on the road, and Skip Bayless has brought up a shocking aspect of the Warriors’ after their latest defeat.

Tweeting during the game, the NBA analyst pointed out a shocking aspect of the Warriors’ team game. Bayless wrote: “Steph was unbelievable in the 1st half at Suns – 31 on 10-13. Better than ever at age 34. But the Warriors allowed 72 and trail by 7. This team is shockingly disinterested on D… and is now in danger of falling to 0-8 on the road. Sideshow Steph.”
Bayless was in fact right, as the rest of the Warriors could not build on Curry’s incredible performance and allowed the Suns to keep themselves afloat in the game. The struggling Warriors will hope to break their away streak when they go to the Houston Rockets on Sunday.
