Skip Bayless brought up a shocking Luka Doncic shooting record in his attempt to counter the decision of NBA Executives naming the Dallas Mavericks superstar as the best player under the age of 25.
Skip Bayless is known to have a knack for criticising a questionable scoring record, as he has done the same for LeBron James for years. The NBA analyst has a new victim now, as he pointed a finger or two at Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic’s three-pointer record.
Speaking to Shannon Sharpe in the latest episode of Skip and Shannon: Undisputed while discussing who they would rather build their team around in a list of Luka Doncic, Ja Morant or Jayson Tatum, Skip Bayless brought up Doncic’s scoring record in order to criticize the man recently named as the Best Player under the age of 25 by the NBA Executives.
When Shannon brought up Doncic averaging 27 points a game, Bayless hilariously compared Doncic to LeBron James and called him “LeLuka”, before bringing out Doncic’s scoring record in order to back his argument with statistics.
And as it turns out, Bayless brought a shocking statistic indeed, one that is uncharacteristic of one of the top players in the NBA at the moment.
Bayless brought out a shocking statistic that highlights Doncic not being an efficient shooter.
Right after the hilarious “LeLuka” comment, Bayless brought out a statistic that says Doncic’s scoring record from three pointers in his NBA career till date is 33.7%.
In fact, of those 31 players who since Doncic entered the league have attempted at least 1500 three pointers, Doncic’s successful shooting percentage ranks him as the very last of the 31 players in the list.
Bayless backed up his argument with this shocking statistic as he stressed further that Doncic is “dead last” on the list of the aforementioned players, in a clip that has since gone viral amongst NBA fans on social media platforms.
